Privacy policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy covers Honk Out! by Pocket Nebula Games (an independent developer): its web version, its Telegram Mini App and bot @HonkOutBot, its itch.io version, and this website. Honk Out! has no accounts, no purchases, and no ads or third-party analytics in these versions. It also covers the bots of our earlier, now retired games, which now only point players to Honk Out! and sell nothing.

Your game progress

• In the browser and on itch.io your progress (cleared levels, stars, coins, lot upgrades, boosters and settings) is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it.
• In Telegram the same progress is saved with Telegram CloudStorage, which Telegram keeps for your account and this bot, with a copy in the app's local storage on your device. We cannot read it from our server. Telegram's own privacy policy applies to it.

Anonymous open counter

To know whether people play and which channels bring them, the web and Telegram versions send one small anonymous event to our server each time the game is opened. It contains only: the game, the version (web or Telegram), the event name (open) and, if present, a short channel tag from the link you used (for example site when you came from this website). The bots count /start and /play the same way. The server adds the date and only keeps a daily total per combination. No user id, IP address, device id or cookie is stored with these counters, so they cannot be linked to you.

Messages to the bots

If you send /support or /paysupport with a message to one of our bots, the message and your Telegram user id are written to our server log so we can answer you. Other bot commands are answered without being stored.

Other platforms

Versions of the game published on other platforms, such as Playgama, run inside that platform, and its privacy policy (and, on Playgama, its ads) applies there. On itch.io, itch.io's own privacy policy also applies to its pages. Platform versions such as Playgama's do not send our anonymous counter.

This website and the web version of the game are static sites hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The website sets no cookies and runs no scripts. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses to serve the pages; see the Cloudflare privacy policy.

The game does not ask for any personal information and is suitable for all ages.
